This page explains how checkout and payment security are handled at a general level. The payment methods shown at checkout are the methods currently enabled for the store.
Payment processing
Card and other payment transactions may be processed by third-party payment gateways, financial institutions or payment providers. The information the store receives and retains depends on the provider and configuration. Full card security codes should not be stored by the store after authorisation.
Never send complete card details in support messages
Do not send a full card number, card security code, banking password, one-time authentication code or account password through email, WhatsApp or the contact form. Support should not need those details to identify an order.
Authorisations and pending transactions
A bank may show a payment as pending or authorised before an order is fully accepted or dispatched. A temporary authorisation and a completed charge are different stages. If an order is cancelled, the time for a pending authorisation to disappear is controlled by the financial institution.
Fraud and verification checks
Orders may be held for reasonable anti-fraud or verification checks where transaction details appear inconsistent or unusual. We may ask for limited information needed to verify the transaction, but should not request passwords or complete card credentials.
Refunds
Approved refunds are normally returned through a supported original payment method. A completed refund can take additional time to appear depending on the bank, card network or payment provider.
Account security
Use a strong, unique password for My Account and keep access to your email account secure. Sign out on shared devices. If you suspect unauthorised use of a payment method or account, contact your financial institution promptly and notify store support.
Payment providers have their own security, dispute and refund processes. Their terms can apply in addition to the store’s policies and your rights under Australian law.
